Business Development Manager

About the role

Make It Happen is seeking a full‑time Business Development Manager to join its on‑site team in Goa. You will be responsible for expanding B2B relationships with hotels, resorts, corporate clients and destination partners, driving revenue through heritage‑led experiential tourism.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture key B2B accounts, including hotels, resorts, institutions, corporate clients and destination partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities that align with the company’s ethos of sustainable, heritage‑focused travel.
• Craft compelling value propositions that demonstrate how Make It Happen experiences boost guest engagement and brand differentiation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations and Marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding, execution and performance tracking of partnerships.
• Maintain accurate pipelines, lead tracking, conversion metrics and revenue outcomes, providing regular progress updates.
• Oversee the Sales and Operations team, ensuring clear coordination, guidance and reporting structures.
• Consistently meet and exceed established sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven business development and B2B sales experience, preferably in hospitality or tourism.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong leadership skills to guide Sales and Operations teams toward shared goals.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for heritage, culture and experiential tourism.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and performance analysis.
