Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a confident, result‑oriented Business Development Executive to join our team in Pune. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for a technology and management consulting firm.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, cold calling and other channels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client requirements and present appropriate services or solutions.
• Conduct client and site visits, handle meetings, follow‑ups, negotiations and business discussions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and other business documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
• Track leads, follow‑ups, conversions and sales activities, achieving assigned targets.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
• Good negotiation, presentation and client‑handling abilities.
• Comfortable with client meetings, site visits and local travel.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and professional in approach.
