Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to promote and sell our end‑to‑end solar EPC solutions. You will work directly with residential customers, generate leads in the field, and close sales while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through market surveys, field visits, referrals and networking.
• Prospect residential customers for rooftop solar installations.
• Conduct meetings to assess energy needs and present tailored solar solutions with financial and environmental benefits.
• Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimates and ROI analyses.
• Negotiate terms, address concerns and close sales to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, site visits and sales activities in the CRM.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions, government policies and incentive programs.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs and promotional events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of field‑sales experience, preferably in solar or energy.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field work.
• Two‑wheeler ownership and a valid driving licence are preferred.

• Basic understanding of solar products and EPC solutions.
