About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive B2B growth across the Gujarat region, generating new leads, nurturing customer relationships, and expanding market presence for a range of electrical and industrial products. The role involves extensive travel and regular on‑site customer visits to ensure strong engagement and sales execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Generate leads through customer visits, networking, market research, references and industrial contacts.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with OEMs, transformer manufacturers, electrical equipment manufacturers and industrial customers.
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Visit customers regularly to understand requirements, provide support and resolve concerns.
  • Handle inquiries, quotations, negotiations and follow‑ups professionally.
  • Coordinate with backend sales, dispatch, production and service teams for smooth order execution.
  • Prepare territory‑wise sales plans and achieve assigned targets.
  • Promote the full product portfolio, including wires, cables, conductors, busbars, copper products and related items.
  • Maintain sales reports, lead pipelines, customer feedback and update CRM/ERP systems.

Required profile

  • Strong B2B sales and business development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships independently.
  • Analytical mindset with market intelligence skills.
  • Effective coordination and follow‑up abilities across multiple internal teams.

Required skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
