Business Consulting – Internal Audit & Compliance Consultant

About the role

The role involves managing assigned client engagements at an executive level within a business consulting practice. The consultant will work with senior client and internal personnel to address compliance, financial and operational risks. The focus is on internal control testing, audit planning and delivering outsourced internal audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client engagements at an executive level.
• Collaborate with senior client and internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance, financial and operational risks.
• Perform internal control testing and assess the client’s current internal controls and SOX framework.
• Develop and execute internal audit plans tailored to client needs.
• Deliver internal audit services on an outsourcing basis, including reporting findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing consulting engagements for high‑level clients.
• Strong understanding of compliance, financial and operational risk management.
• Experience with internal control testing and SOX compliance assessments.
• Ability to design and implement internal audit plans.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
