Banquet Manager

About the role

The Banquet Manager leads the banquet team to deliver high‑quality service for events, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial control. This full‑time, onsite position is based on Vagator Beach Road, Goa.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and motivate banquet staff while personally assisting during events.
• Manage supply needs, inventories, and equipment for banquet operations.
• Control liquor costs and maintain beverage perpetual inventory.
• Schedule staff to meet service standards and maximize profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client groups to drive repeat business.
• Lead daily shift operations, conduct monthly team meetings, and set performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery.
• Participate in HR activities, including training, performance feedback, and corrective action plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food & beverage, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
