Banner Student Information System Consultant – SaaS Enablement

About the role

We are looking for a Banner Student Information System Consultant to join our SaaS Acceleration Team. In this role you will guide higher‑education institutions through the adoption of the Ellucian SaaS Platform, ensuring smooth onboarding, configuration and long‑term success of the Banner Student solution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and influence client teams during Banner Student implementations, both in the US and internationally.
• Provide best‑practice advice and configure Banner Student to align with institutional business needs.
• Support customers transitioning from legacy student information systems through guided onboarding and change‑management consulting.
• Gather, document and analyse business requirements, and brief implementation teams on adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with internal consulting resources to improve delivery materials and share knowledge across the practice.
• Identify internal process‑improvement opportunities and participate in cross‑departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in student registration or student services within higher‑education institutions.
• Understanding of higher‑education standards and practices.
• Background in training, consulting or system implementation projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with leadership and staff at all levels.
