AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage, support and optimise our AWS cloud environment while also contributing to Azure infrastructure administration. The role requires strong expertise in AWS operations, cloud security, automation and monitoring, as well as working knowledge of Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Control Tower) ensuring high availability, performance and security.
• Design and implement enterprise‑scale cloud architectures, including networking (VPN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect), security controls and cost optimisation.
• Develop and maintain Azure solutions such as Private DNS Zones, ExpressRoute, Landing Zones, AKS clusters, Terraform IaC, Azure DevOps pipelines and API Management.
• Lead cloud automation initiatives, mentor teams and drive best‑practice adoption across AWS and Azure.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proven ability to design, implement and optimise IaaS/PaaS solutions in public clouds.
• Experience collaborating with architects, managing project lifecycles and providing cost estimates.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux/Windows environments and cloud security frameworks.

• Cloud security: IAM policies, encryption, Zero Trust, Wiz integrations.
