AVP Product Controller – Fixed Income & FX

About the role

The AVP Product Controller FIF will oversee the financial aspects of trading activities within the Fixed Income & FX franchise. You will ensure accurate profit and loss reporting, regulatory compliance, and provide insightful analysis to support trading performance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily P&L figures for trading desks and resolve discrepancies to reflect true economic value.
• Support identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks and report them to senior colleagues.
• Maintain and analyse trading data, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and deliver performance insights.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and support external audits.
• Communicate complex financial information to traders, risk professionals and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Product control experience in an investment bank.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial products and markets for the relevant asset class.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end investment banking processes and associated controls.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time‑management skills.
