Associate UI/UX Designer – Bangalore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate UI/UX Designer to join our R&D team in Bangalore. The role is aimed at high‑performing interns or recent graduates who will help translate research into production‑grade user experiences for web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design responsive, user‑centric interfaces for web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency across devices.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, developers, and product managers to create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mock‑ups.
• Develop UI flows, personas, and use‑case scenarios into structured layouts and design systems.
• Maintain brand guidelines and contribute to the evolution of design libraries and reusable components.
• Produce design specifications, UI kits, and handoff assets using tools such as Figma, Zeplin or Adobe XD.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback within an agile, cross‑functional environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction or a related field.
• Strong theoretical foundation in UI/UX principles and a portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across geographies and time zones.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and usability heuristics.
• Experience creating design systems, UI libraries and reusable components.
