About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – JLG supports the Relationship Manager in deepening banking relationships, acquiring new customers, and managing Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) from formation through loan disbursement and collection. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to rural households and driving revenue through cross‑selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages and conduct zoning activities.
• Assist in creating and managing JLGs, ensuring timely loan disbursement and post‑disbursement checks.
• Achieve monthly and annual group loan booking targets.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and generate new revenue streams.
• Support lead generation, account opening, and new market penetration.
• Maintain high collection efficiency and ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Coordinate with operations for data entry and compliance with bank policies.
• Conduct field audits, customer verifications, and gather market intelligence.
• Recommend process improvements and support livelihood and community development initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Strong understanding of rural banking and JLG operations.
• Ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
• Goal‑oriented with a focus on sales and collection targets.

• Knowledge of loan documentation and banking compliance.
• Basic data entry and record‑keeping abilities.
