Associate – Regulatory Risk & Compliance (GenAI Data Scientist)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Regulatory Risk and Compliance practice in Bengaluru. The role combines risk advisory with cutting‑edge Generative AI and Python development to help clients strengthen internal controls, optimise compliance processes and enhance customer experiences through Salesforce technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and fine‑tune Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, GANs, VAEs) for risk‑related use cases.
• Deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure using MLOps best practices.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering and exploratory data analysis to build predictive models.
• Write clean, scalable Python code, create data pipelines, APIs and automation scripts.
• Integrate AI models with existing Salesforce applications and other client systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Present model performance and insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Graduated in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in risk, compliance and regulatory environments.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, client‑focused setting.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with Generative AI models (GPT, GANs, VAEs).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• MLOps and model deployment.
