Java Tech Lead (Bangalore)

About the role

As a Tech Lead you will participate in creating new products and enhancing existing ones from concept to launch within a cross‑functional team. You will provide software solutions that require a deep system understanding of the product and collaborate with multiple interfaces to ensure solution completeness.

Key responsibilities

• Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.
• Design and code complex software features with proper documentation.
• Write automation for new and existing features.
• Provide customer support, troubleshoot difficult software problems, and proactively communicate status and delays.
• Interface with global teams for requirements analysis, scheduling, and with external customers regarding software issues.
• Travel to onsite locations for short‑term assignments such as feature integrations and version installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical or related engineering field with 7‑11 years of experience.
• At least 6 years of software development experience, including maintenance, continuous integration and releases.
• Minimum 4 years of core product software development experience.
• Strong object‑oriented design and programming expertise.
• Professional experience with core Java technologies (design patterns, multi‑threading, data structures, algorithms).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Knowledge of best practices and integration with other areas.
