Associate GenAI and Agentic AI Engineer

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate GenAI and Agentic AI Engineer to join its Advisory team in Bangalore. The role focuses on building autonomous AI agents, optimizing retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, and ensuring safe, reliable performance for client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement autonomous agents using frameworks such as LangChain, Crew.ai, SK, and Autogen.
• Develop and optimise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for efficient information retrieval and response generation.
• Create robust evaluation and monitoring frameworks to test agent performance, safety, and logging.
• Document best practices and contribute to the evolution of agent architecture and capabilities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Python development, including async programming and API design.
• Hands‑on experience with vector databases, embedding models, and building RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM optimisation, and safety principles to mitigate hallucinations.
• Proficiency with modern software development practices such as Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
