Assistant/Deputy Manager – Lead Business Analyst (Plant Controlling)

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Lead Business Analyst will drive plant controlling activities for Bosch’s Jaipur power‑train plant, focusing on cost management, business planning and performance monitoring to support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate product‑level and product‑family financials, provide insights for corrective actions and coordinate cost‑performance targets with value‑stream and support functions.
• Oversee the finalisation of the Business Plan, aligning product‑wise targets with regional business units and ensuring robustness checks.
• Monitor monthly performance, analyse deviations between actuals and plan, and issue early‑warning signals to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead business‑case evaluations for new product propositions, including make‑or‑buy analysis, labour mix and cost‑measure recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant controlling, cost management or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Value Stream Owners, Plant Management and Regional Business Units.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify root causes of performance gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Experience in developing and reviewing business cases for new products or process improvements.
