Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily restaurant operations at our venue on Vagator Beach Road, Goa. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Director of Restaurants, you will help maintain high standards of service, sanitation, and guest satisfaction during peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising shift operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address questions or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and local alcohol service regulations.
• Communicate food quality and service issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager.
• Manage inventory, supplies, equipment, and uniform availability.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Support budgeting goals and track financial performance.
• Participate in training initiatives and on‑the‑job coaching.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, sanitation standards, and local alcohol laws.
• Ability to lead a team, communicate clearly, and handle guest issues professionally.
