Assistant Professor – Cyber Security (CSIT)

About the role

The university is seeking an Assistant (or Associate) Professor in Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) with a focus on Cyber Security. The successful candidate will join the faculty to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guide research projects and contribute to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs and practical sessions according to the teaching schedule and curriculum.
• Participate in syllabus enrichment, aligning content with current industry trends and statutory guidelines.
• Conduct examination duties, assess projects, and ensure timely submission of results.
• Mentor students in research, project work, soft‑skill development and career guidance.
• Engage in academic administration, admissions, internship coordination and placement activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, etc.).
• Minimum of four years of teaching experience at Bachelor’s or Master’s level with a strong academic record.
• Relevant undergraduate/graduate degrees (BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech) in the subject area.
