eLearning Developer (Articulate Storyline 360)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an eLearning Developer to create high‑quality, interactive digital learning experiences for its global workforce. You will work closely with instructional designers, subject‑matter experts and multimedia teams to turn technical knowledge into engaging learner‑centric modules.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive e‑learning modules using Articulate Storyline 360, focusing on learner engagement and usability.
• Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to analyse requirements and craft effective learning strategies.
• Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, animation, video, audio and simulations.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure consistent branding, navigation and overall learner experience.
• Support classroom, virtual classroom and blended learning programs with digital assets and courseware.
• Perform end‑to‑end quality assurance, including functionality testing, content validation and SCORM compliance.
• Troubleshoot Storyline and LMS compatibility issues and manage multiple deliverables to meet timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Instructional Design or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in e‑learning development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills in a global environment.
• Ability to independently manage tasks, priorities and project deliverables.
• Experience delivering scalable, reusable templates and frameworks.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 (triggers, variables, layers, states).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with additional authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise and Camtasia.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript for customisation.
• Understanding of LMS platforms (e.g., SABA, Cornerstone) and SCORM/xAPI standards.
• Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, Section 508).
