Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition & Operations (HR)

About the role

EY is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Talent Attraction & Acquisition team in Mumbai. The role combines HR operations with strategic talent acquisition, supporting business leaders across functions to attract and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid‑ to senior‑level positions across business functions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Drive hiring initiatives for bulk, niche, and leadership hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and provide market intelligence.
• Conduct regular hiring reviews to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Guide, mentor and support recruiters to meet hiring targets and maintain quality of hires.
• Monitor recruiter performance, productivity and adherence to processes.
• Lead offer discussions, compensation negotiations and onboarding activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition and end‑to‑end recruitment.
• Strong stakeholder partnership and business‑partnering skills.
• Leadership experience in managing and developing recruitment teams.
• Excellent communication and advisory abilities.
