Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager drives the company’s values and philosophy by linking training initiatives to the organization’s mission and vision. Working closely with the Executive Committee and property leadership, the role identifies development needs and ensures effective training programs that support business results.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and design custom and corporate training programs.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance training such as CPR, OSHA, fire safety, harassment, and food handling.
• Administer core training initiatives including orientation, leadership skills, trainer certification, diversity, and management development.
• Incorporate adult‑learning principles and adjust methodologies as needed.
• Develop and maintain a management orientation program covering financial, HR, and leadership competencies.
• Coach managers and employees to enhance performance and service excellence.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of HR or related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with trainer certification and no experience required.
• Certified trainer status.
• Strong understanding of training best practices and compliance requirements.
