Assistant Manager - Security

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Security to lead and support security operations across multiple plants and the head office. The role will ensure consistent implementation of security policies, oversee surveillance systems, and coordinate risk mitigation and crisis response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support formulation and implementation of corporate security policies, SOPs and guidelines across locations.
• Monitor adherence to security standards at plants, sites and head office, coordinating with site security teams.
• Assist in conducting security risk assessments, vulnerability audits and tracking mitigation plans.
• Liaise with plant security teams, local authorities and law‑enforcement agencies; support investigations and documentation of security incidents.
• Oversee surveillance systems (CCTV, access control), review system reports and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory security requirements and maintain audit records.
• Support development, testing and execution of emergency response plans, mock drills and incident root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; defence, police or security background preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in corporate or industrial security, preferably in power, infrastructure or large industrial environments.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external agencies.

Required skills

• CCTV and access control system management.
• Security risk assessment and vulnerability auditing.
• Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory security compliance.
