Head of Security Automation

About the role

The Head of Security Automation will provide strategic direction and leadership for the implementation and management of advanced security technologies across the Adani Group. This senior position drives innovation, establishes standards, and ensures optimal performance of security systems in line with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the security automation strategy, aligning with the Group Security Head’s vision.
• Establish governance frameworks for deployment, standardisation, and maintenance of security technologies across all business units.
• Stay abreast of global trends and integrate emerging technologies such as AI‑driven analytics and IoT devices.
• Oversee implementation of cutting‑edge security solutions, ensuring scalability of CCTV, access‑control and biometric systems.
• Develop automated threat‑detection, escalation and response mechanisms to enhance real‑time situational awareness.
• Provide strategic oversight for large‑scale projects, including budgeting, risk mitigation and KPI definition.
• Shape vendor selection strategy, negotiate partnerships and ensure alignment with long‑term organisational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security automation initiatives at an enterprise level.
• Strong understanding of security technologies and their integration across diverse business units.
• Ability to drive innovation and influence policy development.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects, budgets and cross‑functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Excellent governance and vendor‑management capabilities.
