Assistant Manager – Regional Business Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Regional Business Development supports KONE’s growth by identifying new market opportunities and managing complex development projects across regions. This role works closely with various business units to ensure cross‑functional implementation of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities to position KONE competitively in the market.
• Manage complex projects such as acquisitions, market entry, and geographical expansions.
• Support special‑focus business segments, for example the Infra segment.
• Drive implementation of growth opportunities like Advanced People Flow solutions.
• Turn around low‑performance business areas.
• Lead large‑scale analysis, development, or implementation projects.
• Oversee business planning, competitive analysis, marketing and communications planning, and sales capability development.
• Maintain strong internal and external networks to share best practices and understand future requirements.
• Leverage external partners such as consultants, investment bankers, and IT vendors.
