Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Finance will support the finance function of a leading aviation ground‑handling provider. Based in Hyderabad, the role involves managing both receivable and payable cycles, payroll, tax compliance and fixed‑asset accounting while ensuring accurate reporting and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm contractual rates in RSmart and ensure correct billing for all customers.
• Authorize monthly invoices, review debtor ageing reports and perform balance reconciliations.
• Process payroll, prepare related documentation and reconcile payroll data each month.
• Verify and authorize vendor payments, maintain weekly bank reconciliation statements and ensure timely vendor settlements.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, run monthly depreciation and produce asset movement reports.
• Collect employee IT declaration forms, prepare TDS, PF and service‑tax data and perform related reconciliations.
• Prepare MIS reports for statutory agencies and internal management on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist auditors during financial statement audits and support the CFO/BUFH in finance‑related duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance such as TDS, PF and service tax.
• Ability to prepare and analyse MIS reports and support audit activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across functions.
