Assistant Manager – Denim Shirt & Shacket Design

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Designer to lead the development of denim shirts and shackets. The role will drive seasonal concepts, oversee sample creation, and ensure the final products align with brand direction and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Brand Designers to interpret seasonal briefs and define range architecture.
• Conduct market and competitor research to track denim trends, fabrics, washes, fits, and styling evolution.
• Develop and present seasonal design concepts, range boards, and mood boards for stakeholder approval.
• Coordinate with sourcing and product teams to create prototypes and support trade‑show preparation.
• Prepare detailed sample indents, including specifications, artworks, wash details, trims, and colorways.
• Provide clear Development & Measurement Hand‑off notes to sampling and merchandising teams.
• Review and approve proto samples and final gold‑seal samples to maintain design integrity and quality.

Required profile

• Creative, detail‑oriented professional with a strong understanding of denim trends.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with brand, sourcing, and product teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting concepts and gathering feedback.
