Sourcing Merchandiser - only person with disability

About the role

We are seeking a Sourcing Merchandiser to execute seasonal and short‑term sourcing plans for apparel, ensuring financial, quality and delivery targets are met. The role involves close collaboration with design, merchandising and vendor teams, and is open to candidates with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute seasonal and short‑term sourcing plans, meeting line financial, customer service, quality, aesthetic, safety and terms‑of‑engagement requirements.
• Communicate capacity and price requirements to achieve line margin and delivery targets.
• Provide alternatives to design and merchandising teams to meet commercial goals at competitive cost, leveraging component libraries.
• Review capacity plans and production schedules to optimise vendor utilisation.
• Manage product execution from sketch to delivery, including fabrication alternatives, garment engineering and sample management.
• Develop, manage and coach a high‑performing vendor team to meet current and future business needs.
• Track adoption rates and ensure timely delivery of prototypes, shoot, catalogue and pre‑production samples for go‑to‑market milestones.
• Analyse procurement costs and recommend cost‑saving measures.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in fashion apparel or fabric sourcing and product development.
• Familiarity with sourcing, vendor management and relevant categories.
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
• Ability to negotiate and maintain networking relationships.
• Comfortable working with data, collecting, analysing and interpreting figures.
• Degree in garment textiles is a plus.
