Assistant Manager – Client Relations & Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Client Relations & Operations will oversee investor and distributor interactions for two of the company’s largest branches in Mumbai (IH) and Delhi. The role focuses on delivering prompt, compliant, and high‑quality service to both retail and institutional investors, while actively working to retain or win back exiting investors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily investor and distributor queries, handling 45‑50 interactions per day in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Resolve grievances efficiently to ensure a uniform, best‑in‑class service experience for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage proactively with investors who are exiting or whose SIP tenures are ending, understand reasons for exit, and attempt retention or win‑back.
• Support a sales team of 30‑35 persons by providing timely information and issue resolution.
• Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality while dealing with high‑value institutional accounts representing roughly 56% of pan‑India institutional folios.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high‑volume, high‑value client interactions.
• Experience in investor relations, client servicing, or related financial operations.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and adhere to regulatory and SOP requirements.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on swift issue resolution.
