Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office operations at our luxury resort in Goa. The role involves overseeing daily front desk activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Manager in day‑to‑day operations and ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Supervise, train, and schedule front office staff including reception, concierge, and bell desk teams.
• Monitor room inventory, occupancy levels, and coordinate with housekeeping.
• Prepare daily reports on arrivals, departures, and revenue updates.
• Ensure accurate billing, financial procedures, and compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Maintain and update guest records in the IDS system.
• Support departmental revenue targets through upselling initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of front office experience, with 2–4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good knowledge of revenue management basics and front office accounting.
• Familiarity with the Goa hospitality market is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of IDS Hotel Management Software (mandatory).
