Assistant Chef – Indian, Chinese & Continental Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our F&B team across Goa and Maharashtra. The role involves preparing and cooking a diverse range of Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes while adhering to our standard operating procedures and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop and store ingredients according to recipes and yield guides.
• Cook menu items—vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and beverages—maintaining quality, presentation and safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as braising pans, ovens, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Set up and maintain work stations with appropriate stock levels.
• Assist with inventory management, timely replenishment and waste minimisation.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and excise regulations.
• Interact with guests, take orders and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Hospitality graduate or diploma in hospitality.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel, club, cruise ship, or restaurant kitchen.
• Strong operational knowledge of hotel F&B services.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in southern India.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment (braising pans, baking ovens, grills, microwaves, fryers).
• Inventory and stock management.
• Food safety and regulatory compliance (FSSAI, excise).
