Assistant Chef – Continental & Café Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Chef to join our growing café team. You will work in a dynamic kitchen that values quality ingredients, fresh preparation, and consistent delivery of great food.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook pizzas, burgers, pasta, wraps and other café dishes.
• Maintain food quality, taste and presentation according to recipes.
• Follow portion‑control guidelines and uphold hygiene standards.
• Support stock management and ingredient preparation.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Collaborate with a small, supportive kitchen team.

Required profile

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Continental and café‑style cooking.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
