About the role
We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The role focuses on assembling components and ensuring product quality in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electronic parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Operate hand and power tools safely to complete assigned work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards.
- Document assembly processes and report any defects or non‑conformities.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other technicians to meet production targets.
Required profile
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech); an MBA is also mentioned as acceptable.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in assembly or manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
