About the role
The Area Sales Manager – TPD will lead the Total Permanent Disability (TPD) sales portfolio for Aditya Birla Health Insurance in Mumbai. You will drive growth through brokers, corporate agents and bank channels, ensuring the business plan is met or exceeded.
Key responsibilities
- Manage TPD sales activities across designated market segments.
- Engage regularly with brokers, corporate agents and banks to deepen relationships.
- Lead a team of 10 sales professionals, setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Develop and implement solutions tailored to SME and start‑up segments.
- Track and improve key business ratios such as claims, expense and combined ratios.
Required profile
- Senior Manager level experience in insurance or financial services sales.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
- Strong understanding of the health insurance market in India.
- Experience working with multiple distribution channels.
