Area Head – Gold Loans (Kanpur)

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans will lead the execution of the regional gold‑loan strategy for the Kanpur area, balancing rapid growth with strict risk discipline. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for achieving asset‑under‑management, disbursement, profitability and compliance targets while expanding the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategy execution, growth, profitability and portfolio quality across the assigned area.
• Achieve targets for AUM, loan disbursement, P&L, branch expansion and regulatory compliance.
• Build and nurture relationships with enabling functions, regional stakeholders and external partners.
• Lead and manage multiple branch heads and distributed branch teams.
• Define business plans, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks aligned with national strategy.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and monitor portfolio performance and market updates.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in NBFC or gold‑loan business.
• Track record of managing multi‑branch operations and delivering growth targets.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and team‑building capabilities.
