Area Head – Gold Loans

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans will lead the strategy, growth and profitability of gold loan operations across the assigned region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees multiple branch heads, ensures regulatory compliance and drives portfolio quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the regional strategy to achieve targets for assets under management, loan disbursement, P&L and branch expansion.
• Lead and mentor a network of branch heads and distributed teams, setting productivity benchmarks aligned with national goals.
• Develop and implement business plans, manpower structures and operational governance for the area.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market trends and risk indicators, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in gold loan or NBFC business.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with regional and functional stakeholders.
• Strong track record of achieving growth, profitability and compliance targets.
• Experience overseeing multiple branches and managing distributed teams.
