Area FCU Manager – Risk Containment Unit (Raipur)

About the role

The Area FCU Manager leads the Risk Containment Unit (RCU) for the Raipur region, ensuring a risk‑free onboarding experience for customers. The role focuses on fraud detection, investigation, and continuous improvement of risk controls to support affordable finance growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end RCU process, including pre‑sanction sampling, fraud savings, and hit‑rate monitoring.
• Manage vendor and agency relationships, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, training, and escalation handling.
• Maintain MIS dashboards, portfolio performance metrics, and timely billing submissions.
• Drive digital initiatives such as internal deduplication searches, hunter tools, and data‑mining for fraud trends.
• Conduct cross‑functional investigations, coordinate with internal teams, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Lead training programs for samplers, business users, and vendor partners to enhance fraud detection quality.
• Identify process gaps, propose corrective actions, and participate in ad‑hoc investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in fraud detection and investigation within NBFC/HFC mortgage businesses.
• Strong understanding of current market practices in fraud analytics and risk control.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, drive performance metrics, and deliver error‑free reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training delivery.
