Architect Data Products (Azure/Databricks)

About the role

The Architect Data Products will lead the design, development and maintenance of the data product layer within our lakehouse environment. Based in Hyderabad, you will work with Azure‑based technologies to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions for our analytics community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data product architectures using Azure, Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Synapse.
• Automate deployment and CI/CD processes with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with agile teams, applying DevOps best practices to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Integrate metadata and data catalogues via APIs such as Collibra.
• Support Power BI reporting by providing clean, well‑documented data sets.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of hands‑on experience as a data engineer.
• Strong background in Azure cloud services, Databricks and lakehouse concepts.
• Proven ability to work in an agile, DevOps‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
