Android Developer with Kotlin and Jetpack

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Android developer to build high‑performance mobile applications using Kotlin and Jetpack components. You will work on enterprise‑grade solutions for banking and financial clients, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Own features from design through testing and production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams to deliver user‑centric solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and stability issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Hybrid work mode (work from client office).

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, LiveData, Navigation).
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
• Unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality tools.
