Technical Project Manager – Vadodara

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large, complex engineering initiatives in Vadodara. The role combines deep technical understanding with strong stakeholder management to ensure delivery excellence across AI, cloud, and platform projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large technical epics, from planning and estimation through release and closure.
• Coordinate engineering teams, architects, product owners and business stakeholders to manage scope, timelines, quality and dependencies.
• Break down complex initiatives into workstreams, milestones and delivery plans, tracking progress and removing impediments.
• Establish delivery governance, including status reporting, RAID management and executive communication.
• Support Agile ceremonies, adapt delivery approaches to programme complexity and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate technical topics into clear business insights for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in technical project/program management and engineering delivery.
• Proven track record managing large, multi‑team technology programmes and complex dependencies.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, collaborative client environments.
• Ownership mindset focused on outcomes rather than activity tracking.

Required skills

• Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and backlog management.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.
• Experience with cloud, data, API and platform engineering.
• Knowledge of AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning delivery lifecycles.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe (advantageous).
