Tech Lead – Mobile (Android & iOS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead – Mobile (Android + iOS) to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, high‑performance mobile applications for our banking and financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development and delivery of Android and iOS applications.
• Own mobile architecture, technical standards, design patterns and engineering best practices.
• Make decisions on frameworks, libraries, performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Drive adoption of MVVM, Clean Architecture and other modern mobile patterns.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure security and quality guidelines are met.
• Mentor senior and junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Backend, DevOps and other cross‑functional teams.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, stability issues and production incidents.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective‑C).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor mobile engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Required skills

• Android development: Kotlin, Java, Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, Navigation, LiveData/Flow).
• iOS development: Swift, Objective‑C, UIKit, SwiftUI, concurrency, networking.
• Architectural patterns: MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization.
• Integration with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms and third‑party SDKs.
• Mobile security, secure coding practices and compliance.
• Performance optimization, memory management, crash analysis.
• Unit testing, UI/integration testing, code quality tools.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated release to Google Play and Apple App Store.
• Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Code review processes and engineering standards.
