About the role
Join Airbus India's Structures – Aero Data Management team as an Aircraft Product Lifecycle Management Intern. You will support the Airframe Process, Methods, and Tools Department by working on digital transformation initiatives and verification activities for PLM applications used worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Understand aircraft components, methods, processes and tools to map the aircraft lifecycle.
- Use PLM applications to manage aircraft data and create business use cases and scenarios for testing.
Required profile
- Final‑year undergraduate in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and proactive ownership.
Required skills
- Familiarity with modern 3D CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Basic understanding of PLM/PDM concepts, revision control and BOM management.
- Awareness of software testing principles, user acceptance testing (UAT) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
