Advanced Mechanical Integrity Engineer

ExxonMobil is seeking an Advanced Mechanical Integrity Engineer to lead business engagements, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical oversight for the integrity and reliability of fixed equipment. The role focuses on continuous improvement, risk management, and digital transformation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle Risk‑Based Inspection (RBI) implementation and stewardship.
• Perform advanced integrity assessments such as brittle fracture, flexibility analysis, and corrosion evaluations.
• Develop and manage fit‑for‑purpose risk‑based strategies.
• Conduct criticality assessments and assign consequence/complexity ratings.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and bad‑actor elimination initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for service providers and internal teams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical development.
• Drive adoption of digital tools and analytics for process improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and incorporate lessons learned into future planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline (field not specified).
