Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimisation, drive lean initiatives and support new product introductions across our global manufacturing network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Lead implementation of technical improvements and new technologies to boost productivity, product quality and throughput.
• Support new product and process development, including labour routings, process control plans and testing plans.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives such as value‑stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage engineering change orders, review drawings in PDM and coordinate productivity improvements linked to design changes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing technology, preferably in industrial, automotive or aerospace environments.
• 5 years of experience with automation, project management of assembly lines and Lean concepts.
• Proven experience in welding, PLC programming and SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5S methodologies.

Required skills

• SolidWorks and AutoCAD for fixture and tooling design.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC), root‑cause analysis and FMEA.
• PLC programming and SCADA integration.
• Infor ERP (LN 10.7) familiarity.
• Experience with value‑stream analysis and Kaizen events.
