Industrial Applications Engineer – Energy & Decarbonization

About the role

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking an Industrial Applications Engineer focused on Energy and Decarbonization. The role is customer‑facing, globally scoped and will support industrial sectors such as metals, mining, cement, food & beverage and other power‑intensive operations. You will work from Bengaluru (or other approved locations) within an agile, technically driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end creation and technical quality of offers for industrial customers, ensuring accuracy, appropriate solution architecture and clear communication of Armstrong’s value proposition.
• Engage directly with plant engineers, process managers and energy managers to understand requirements, conduct site assessments and map heating, cooling, water transfer and high‑pressure systems.
• Translate Armstrong’s industrial strategy into actionable guidance, tools and training for regional sales teams, and maintain consistent execution across markets.
• Serve as the subject‑matter authority for high‑pressure applications, defining solutions for hydraulic press circuits, descaling and high‑pressure washing systems.
• Quantify energy savings and carbon‑reduction potential, build ROI and lifecycle cost models, and embed decarbonization narratives into every customer interaction.
