Accountant – E‑commerce Finance Specialist

About the role

Coloressence, a fast‑growing Indian colour cosmetics brand, is looking for a full‑time Accountant to join its finance team in Haridwar. The role focuses on managing the financial operations of the company’s e‑commerce channels and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial entries and perform return reconciliations.
• Reconcile ledgers and manage bookkeeping for e‑commerce platforms.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and analyse sales data.
• Monitor e‑commerce transactions across Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify and other marketplaces.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to control expenses, budgets and cost analysis.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and ledger reconciliation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience with e‑commerce accounting or retail finance is a plus.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• SAP B1 (accounting module)
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Familiarity with Amazon, Flipkart and Shopify platforms
• Understanding of payment gateway operations and tax compliance
