Accountant – Branch Finance Operations

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of our branch in Erattupetta. The role involves handling billing, cash transactions, stock transfers and purchase entries while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities and oversee billing, cash handling, stock transfer and purchase entry.
- Perform cash closing, bank reconciliations and support month‑end closing processes.
- Prepare and finalise balance sheets and profit & loss statements with a focus on accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and implement internal control mechanisms.
- Handle RTGS/NEFT transactions and taxation processes.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Age between 20 and 35 years.
- 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Tally.
- Knowledge of SAP or other accounting software.
