Accountant – Branch Finance Operations

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of our Manjeri branch. The role involves handling billing, cash, stock transfers and purchase entries while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of the branch.
- Oversee billing, cash handling, stock transfer and purchase entry processes.
- Perform cash closing and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and finalize balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Implement and monitor internal control mechanisms.
- Handle RTGS/NEFT transactions and taxation processes.
- Support month‑end closing, journal entry preparation and balance‑sheet account reconciliation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Age between 20 and 35 years.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software.
- Knowledge of SAP financial modules.
