About the role

We are seeking a creative Accessory Designer specialized in leather goods to join our team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on designing leather bags, footwear, and related accessories for a buying house, offering the opportunity to shape product collections from concept to final prototype.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original design concepts for leather bags, shoes, and accessories.
• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and material specifications.
• Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Stay updated on market trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Prepare presentation boards and samples for client reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing leather bags, footwear, or accessories.
• Proven track record working for a buying house or similar environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design creativity and technical execution.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hand‑sketching and digital illustration tools.
• Understanding of leather materials, hardware, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of garment and accessory pattern making.
