Workday Reporting Analyst (People Analytics)

About the role

Trimble is looking for a Workday Reporting Analyst focused on People Analytics. The role acts as the core architect of the global People Analytics reporting infrastructure, turning HR data into insights that support company-wide HR strategy. It involves optimizing Workday features such as the Manager Insights Hub, Career Hub and Workday Prism Analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-impact Workday reports and dashboards, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite formats.
• Create and configure complex calculated fields to turn business logic into reliable, scalable data outputs.
• Enhance specialized Workday tools such as the Manager Insights Hub and Career Hub for a customized stakeholder experience.
• Troubleshoot and optimize report performance, resolve data gaps and validate accuracy during system updates and data transfers.
• Apply security domains, data privacy controls and sharing restrictions to protect confidential workforce information.

Required profile

• Three or more years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining complex Workday Reporting solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Analytics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of HRIS and HCM business processes.
• Bonus points: experience in a People Analytics or HR technology environment, and hands-on exposure to BI and data visualization tools such as Domo or Tableau.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency with Workday Prism Analytics, Report Writer, business objects, data sources and reporting architecture.
• Creating advanced calculated fields and multi-layered data analysis.
• Bonus: strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced lookup techniques.
