HR Business Partner – India

About the role

The HR Business Partner supports the Senior HRBP and the wider HR team in delivering effective people support for the India business. The role partners with managers and employees on day‑to‑day HR activities, employee lifecycle processes, employee relations, HR operations, and local compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR operations for the India population, ensuring accurate employee lifecycle activities, documentation, data updates and compliance.
• Assist with employee relations case preparation, meeting coordination, documentation and follow‑up, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Help deliver HR initiatives such as performance management, employee engagement, talent processes, policy rollouts and organizational change.
• Provide practical HR support to managers and employees on routine people matters, policies, processes and lifecycle questions.
• Collaborate with global HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Rewards, HR Operations, Learning & Development) to resolve queries and ensure a consistent employee experience.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or similar HR roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist or junior HR Business Partnering environments.
• Exposure to employee lifecycle processes, employee relations support, HR systems and policy application.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and statutory requirements.
• Ability to prepare documentation, coordinate meetings and follow‑up on HR cases.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
