Welder Supervisor – Piece Can Manufacturing Experience

About the role

The Welder Supervisor ensures continuous, reliable, and high‑quality operation of the Can Man welding production lines at CairoPac. You will own the mechanical integrity of the welding system, from preventive maintenance to rapid fault resolution, while driving operator development and minimizing unplanned downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on Can Man/Soudronic welding machines, roll formers, power‑cure units and related line equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across welding rolls, copper‑wire systems, powder‑application arms, valves, curing units, bearings, belts, chains and drive systems.
• Monitor machine alignment, calibration, wire tension, welding pressure and clutch systems; log breakdowns and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Supervise welding production on CAN Line 1 and CAN Line 2 to meet output targets and ensure weld integrity through visual inspection and strength checks.
• Manage machine changeovers, powder‑application quality, and support leak‑testing operations.
• Lead, train and develop line technicians and operators; conduct structured shift handovers and maintain daily downtime and maintenance records.

Required profile

• Hands‑on expertise with Soudronic Can Man (or equivalent) welding machines.
• Strong understanding of roll former mechanics and copper‑wire system operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings related to welding equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge of power‑cure and control‑panel components.
